Reimagine Chase City was begun in early 2025 with the following mission statement: We are a grassroots organization that advocates for and leads efforts to help "reimagine what can be" in Chase City. We will work to support and accelerate the efforts of town leaders to further improve and enrich our community for residents, businesses, and visitors.

The Steering Committee held its first meeting in February. We then asked the board of the Chase City Chamber of Commerce to work underneath it as a subcommittee, which was approved.

Out of that first meeting, we identified two areas in which the Reimagine group could focus its efforts to help tell the story of Chase City:

• The group could reimagine Chase City’s digital presence, which is presently scarce. Many potential residents, business owners, and investors utilize the internet to do their research. Chase City needs to make sure we’re telling an accurate and positive story in the digital space.
